In the past, our restoration and finish work gave us that opportunity, but our favorite projects have been the new boats we have built. We are constantly seeking new boatbuilding projects and are developing our own line of designs for wood-epoxy construction. Wood as an Engineering Material
We are capable of wood construction of any type, from traditional plank-on-frame methods to vacuum-bagged wood composite molding techniques. And while traditional construction is every bit as viable today as ever, we believe the best, longest-lived, most easily maintained boats will be those that are well built using one of several proven wood-epoxy methods. Wood is a wonderful engineering material that performs best in a structure when it is kept dry and stable. Proper wood-epoxy building techniques accomplish that and our experience with those techniques allows us to use them to advantage.
